Restigouche
Sam can be proud that his home is the salmon capital of
the world, but more importantly that it spawned spitfire
Brigitte Boudreau. Nothing but goodness hails from the Maritimes.
At first glance you might think this Campbellton native
was a smidge introverted, shy even.. but you would be wrong,
dead wrong. This UNB grad will spin circles around you with
her fast feet and funky attitude. The Sprinkler, The Charlie
Chaplin Strut, The Booty Shake, The Running Man, those are
just a few of her moves – and they’ll just to
get her to the line! How does she do it? Brigitte’s
training as a classical ballerina has certainly helped keep
her light on her feet but her creativity has been fostered
by her volunteer work as an assistant choreographer for
the last 2 seasons of Canadian Idol.
2005 marks Brigitte’s first year playing on a competitive
women’s team and Stella is glad to have her! She is
a never-say-die kind of gal. If your eyes can focus quickly
enough you’ll see her zooming up the field and down
the field, again and again and again. Not only is she speedy
and tenacious, but also relentless and determined. Those
characteristics make her team mates happy she’s on
their side. She’ll chase down and reel in the frisbee
no matter where it is flying. When you spot defenders clutching
their ribs and gasping for breath, you’ll know they’ve
just been schooled by the Lady of the Dance.
