Stella Survival 101 - Lesson 1

Who’s setting up the field? Who’s picking up the cones? Who’s organizing rides for this weekend? If you hear anything of this nature from someone on the team’s mouth. Follow these tips to make sure you aren’t the one selected.

To determine who will be completing a certain task, one player on the team will touch one of their fingers to their nose and keep it there until there is only one person left without a finger on their nose. That last person becomes the “task doer”. Even if you don’t know why they are raising their finger to their nose, do so anyways to avoid being stuck doing something that no one wants to do.

Rules:
1. You are allowed to help anyone avoid being the last person. Pick the people that you help wisely. They don’t always help you out when you need it.
2. You are not allowed to keep your finger on your nose for the duration of the practice. Not only will you drop many discs, you will look like a fool.
3. Don’t stomp around or complain when you are the last one. You know the game! Speed up and get your finger on your nose.
4. Practice outside of any team function is completely acceptable.
