The sun was shining as Stella B took to the fields of Montreal this Canada Day weekend to play in the 19^thJazz Fest tournament. This was the first time Stella B had played together and she did very well.  She improved in every aspect of the game – both individually and as a team.

Stellab played seven great games against Polaris (15-2),  Lilly (10-12), Storm (6-12), RumbleRut (9-12), Polaris (15-3), HomeGirls (12-10), and Lilly (10-8). They finished the tournament with a 4-3 record. 

MVPs on Saturday were Sarah Quann and Julie Boisvert and on Sunday were Francine Hart and Heather Ambery.

Stellab is also sad to say “au revoir” to Christina “K-Bob” Koblbauer who is heading back home to Vancouver for the remainder of the summer.

Up next for Stellab is regionals, July 21 and 22.
